Public education and participation day designed to introduce and educate the public (especially youth) about outdoor activities and wildlife etc.
Valley Fishing & Outdoors Show

April 9, 10, and 11th 2010
Once again we were proud to participate in the 11th Annual Valley Fishing & Outdoors Show. An invitation was extended to all to come out and visit us at our booth. We had a marvelous turnout with lots of assistance and made for one great day of arrow balloon popping fun! We Thank all who participated!!!

Once again we are proud to participate in the 10th Annual Valley Fishing & Outdoors Show. An invitation is extended to all to come out and visit us at our booth and try your luck with the bow to see if your arrow can hit a balloon target. We Hope to See you there!!!

Fall Outdoor Sportsman Show
Once again we proudly took part in the Annual Fall Outdoor Sportsmans Show in Carp, ON September 8, 9 2007. This event as always, was a HUGE success and even more fun.
Spring Outdoor Sportsman Show
As always or so it seems we enjoyed taking part again this year at the Annual Spring Outdoor Sportsmans Show in Carp, ON. The event this year took place April 13, 14, 15 2007.

Well we just finished up at the Annual Spring Outdoor Sportsmans Show in Carp, ON this past April 7, 8 & 9th 2006.
KAC B.B.Q. Open House Bring a Friend day!
Mingling with Friends old and new and enjoying delicious B.B.Q. was the schedule for the day! Saturday July 8, 2006 the Kanata Archery Club welcomed all ages of folks from all ends of our community to enjoy the open house, bring a friend BBQ day.
Gates opened at 11:00 a.m. and our Fun Filled Day of leisure activity, friends and great food went off with a bang.
Thanks to everyone who participated, visited and volunteered their time to make such a memorable Open House and Start of the year kick off.
J.A.K.E.S. Day
It was J.A.K.E.S. Day near Calabogie on Saturday May 18, 2006. Local wild Turkey enthusiasts gathered together today to show the younger generation how its done!
J.A.K.E.S. Day which stands for "Juniors Acquiring Knowledge through Education and Sportmanship", is sponsored by the local chapters of the National Wild Turkey Federation. The event featured Archery and Air rifle ranges, a Birds of Prey demonstration from Little Ray's Reptile Adventure as well as an M.N.R. Conservation Canine Unit Officer. BBQ lunch, nature walks and simply having fun is what the day was about. The Kanata Archery Club's own Ron Lewis was onboard teaching the younger ones how to properly use a bow and arrow!
